Bombing Near Pakistani Embassy in Tehran; Staff Remain Safe

TEHRAN: Explosions were reported near the Pakistani embassy and the residence of Pakistan’s ambassador in Iran’s capital, with officials confirming that all diplomatic personnel are safe despite the tense situation.

The Iranian military center “Artesh” is located in front of the Pakistani embassy, while Pakistan’s Ambassador Mudassir Tipu resides in an area associated with the Revolutionary Guards.

Sources stated that intense bombing occurred in both areas at around 8PM. However, no damage was reported to the Pakistani Embassy or the Ambassador’s residence.

Diplomatic sources further confirmed that Ambassador Mudassir Tipu, along with approximately 20 members of the diplomatic staff, continues to perform duties as usual in Tehran.

A senior diplomat said loud explosions were heard, causing concern among staff. However, all personnel remain safe and continue to carry out their responsibilities despite the dangerous environment.
