ISLAMABAD: The Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) of the Cabinet, chaired by Minister for Finance Senator Mohammad Aurangzeb, approved a cash reward for Pakistan’s Under-19 cricket team in recognition of their remarkable victory in the Under-19 Asia Cup final against India.
Minister Aurangzeb emphasized the importance of encouraging young athletes, stating, “Supporting our young players not only boosts their morale but also enhances national pride.”
He noted that the performance of the Under-19 team had made the nation proud and deserved to be recognized and rewarded.
