QUETTA: Chief Minister of Balochistan Sarfraz Bugti has announced the creation of new districts in the province while addressing a public gathering in the Barshore area of Pishin.

Speaking at the event, Bugti said that Barshore had been granted the status of a district, marking an important step toward development. He stated that the government will now focus on accelerating progress in the area and strengthening administrative institutions so they can function effectively at the grassroots level.

He further announced that all closed schools will be reopened and that the government is committed to providing quality healthcare facilities to the public. He warned that strict action will be taken against those who fail to fulfill their responsibilities in this regard.

The Chief Minister emphasized that he continues to visit every corner of Balochistan and will remain among the people, asserting that no one can stop him from engaging directly with the public.

Referring to Afghanistan, Sarfraz Bugti described it as a brotherly neighboring country and noted that Pakistan has supported Afghan brothers for over forty years. However, he remarked that the outcome of this brotherhood has not been favorable for Pakistan, while reiterating that the Afghan people remain Muslim brothers.

He also expressed confidence in the country’s defense, stating that with Field Marshal Asim Munir in leadership, no one can harm even an inch of Pakistan’s territory, nor will Pakistan allow anyone to do so.
