RAWALPINDI: the Corps Commanders’ Conference, led by Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast commitment to counterterrorism and national security.
With tensions rising from allegations of Indian-sponsored terrorism, the military leadership declared that all terrorists, along with their facilitators, would be dealt with decisively, leaving no room for compromise.
According to ISPR, the forum rejected any connections between terrorism, organized crime and political manipulation, emphasizing that such divisive forces would not be allowed to threaten the country’s unity. They also highlighted the need for strengthened bonds between the military and Pakistan’s citizens to safeguard the nation’s sovereignty.
The conference lauded Balochistan’s Special Development Initiatives, aimed at empowering local communities and addressing governance issues tied to terrorism. The commanders stressed the importance of similar efforts in other regions to ensure long-term stability and peace.
The forum also honored the sacrifices of armed forces and law enforcement personnel, offering prayers for those who have fallen in the line of duty. It underscored Pakistan’s unyielding resolve to protect its people, counter emerging threats, and defend its territorial integrity with the highest standards of operational readiness.
