Couple Killed in Shooting One Month After Court Marriage

KARACHI: A couple who had completed their court marriage just a month ago were shot dead in Bense Colony, while a passerby was also injured in the incident.

According to police sources, the victims and the injured were immediately shifted to Jinnah Hospital.

The deceased have been identified as Sudhir Abdul Hameed, 30, and Saima Sudhir, 27. The injured passerby is a 35-year-old unidentified man.

SHO Khalid Memon reported that Sudhir’s father, Abdul Hameed, is involved in the incident. He also confirmed that the passerby was unintentionally hit by the gunfire.

Police are investigating the case, and further details about the motive and suspects are being gathered.
