ISLAMABAD: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held separate high-level meetings with Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zedong and British High Commissioner Jane Marriott in Islamabad on Tuesday.
The meetings focused on the escalating regional tensions and underscored the critical role of diplomacy and negotiation in resolving ongoing conflicts.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Office, the discussions with the Chinese ambassador centered on both regional and global developments, emphasizing strategic cooperation and long-term partnerships between Pakistan and China.
