Drone Strike From Afghanistan On Chinese Nationals Condemned

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan has voiced strong condemnation over the drone attack launched from Afghan territory that killed Chinese citizens in Tajikistan.

According to the Foreign Office, the use of Afghan soil for cross-border militant activity is a matter of serious concern for the entire international community. The spokesperson said that the employment of a drone in the attack underscores the escalating nature of the threat.

Pakistan extended heartfelt condolences to the governments of Tajikistan and China, as well as to the families of the victims, adding that Pakistan fully relates to their pain as it, too, has suffered terrorism originating from Afghanistan.

The spokesperson reiterated that terrorist groups continue to be sheltered under the Afghan Taliban’s oversight, making concrete and verifiable action against these networks essential.

He reaffirmed its commitment to cooperating with China and Tajikistan to promote regional peace and security.
