ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister ShEhbaz Sharif has once again reiterated his commitment to eradicate the black money involved in human trafficking from the country.
Prime Minister Sharif met officers and officials of the FIA and the Intelligence Bureau and appreciated their performance on the arrest of the ringleader of the gang involved in human trafficking from Pakistan.
He said people involved in human trafficking were responsible for the loss of many innocent lives. Many people drowned and lost their lives due to the abominable act, he said, adding there can be no greater cruelty to human lives than this.
The arrest of the gang leader was a worthy tribute. Elimination of the perpetrators of the heinous crime of human trafficking is the top priority of the government. Those involved in the black money tried to hurt the image of Pakistan, he said,a dding the elements involved in human trafficking made Pakistan infamous in the world.
“I have made a firm resolve to completely stop the black money of human trafficking. I congratulate the officers on behalf of the nation for taking action against the elements involved in the heinous racket.”
He said the concerned institutions should work day and night to eradicate the heinous crime of human trafficking. Everyone has to play their role in raising Pakistan’s image on the world stage. The officers who took action against human trafficking have brought honor to the country. The concerned institutions should continue their high performance.
Prime Minister Sharif also awarded Rs1 million and shields for the officers who performed well.
