Event held to celebrate Pakistan’s firm response to Indian aggression

Pakistan committed to peaceful coexistence, but remains unwavering in defending its sovereignty, says consul general.

NEW YORK: The American Pakistani Public Affairs Committee (APPAC) organized an event to honor Pakistan’s firm response to recent Indian aggression, reaffirming its commitment to sovereignty and regional peace.

Consul General of Pakistan in New York Aamer Ahmed Atozai participated in the event which drew a significant turnout from the Pakistani American community, including community leaders, professionals, journalists, and academics. The event served as a platform for expressing solidarity with Pakistan and endorsing its diplomatic and military stance amid regional tensions.

During his address, Consul General Atozai invoked the enduring vision of Pakistan’s founding father, Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah, affirming that “no power on earth can undo Pakistan.” He emphasized that while Pakistan is committed to peaceful coexistence, it remains unwavering in defending its sovereignty and national dignity.

Speakers at the event lauded Pakistan’s leadership for displaying restraint and wisdom in handling provocations. They highlighted the importance of diplomacy and dialogue in resolving regional disputes and called for unity within the diaspora to strengthen Pakistan’s global voice.

Mr. Atozai also strongly rejected India’s “baseless allegations” and attempts to mislead international opinion, stating that the professionalism and strategic capability of Pakistan’s Armed Forces remain unmatched.

The event concluded with a unified message of pride, resilience, and steadfast support for Pakistan’s values, strength, and pursuit of peace.
