ISLAMABAD: Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb has departed for the United States to represent the country at the annual meetings of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) and the World Bank.
During the visit, the minister is scheduled to participate in multiple plenary sessions, where he will present Pakistan’s perspective on critical economic and financial issues affecting the country.
The agenda includes high-level meetings with senior officials from the IMF and the World Bank, providing an opportunity to discuss key policy matters and strengthen bilateral engagement.
In addition to the IMF and World Bank engagements, the Finance Minister will meet with top executives from the International Finance Corporation (IFC) and the Multilateral Investment Guarantee Agency (MIGA).
These meetings aim to explore new avenues for investment, financial cooperation, and support for strategic economic initiatives.
