He confirmed that two Pakistan Army soldiers were martyred and two others injured while performing their duties during these operations.

Briefing the media alongside Information Minister Attaullah Tarar and NDMA Chairman, the DG ISPR said that the Army has so far provided medical treatment to over 20,000 people through 29 established camps, while 225 tons of food rations have been distributed among flood-affected families.

He emphasized that no military posts have been vacated in the affected regions, and normal connectivity is being restored.

According to DG ISPR, all major roads in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have been cleared, while the Karakoram Highway has reopened in Gilgit-Baltistan, where air relief operations are also ongoing. Work is continuing to restore road links in Ghizer and other impacted areas.
