Gandapur Vows to Expose India After FATF Controversy

Islamabad: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur has pledged to expose India’s involvement in terrorism, after New Delhi submitted his recent comments to the Financial Action Task Force (FATF) against Pakistan.

India presented Gandapur’s earlier statement about Taliban detentions and releases as evidence to accuse Pakistan of aiding terror groups. The FATF confirmed India submitted the remarks to press for Pakistan’s return to the grey list.

India Twists Remarks, Says KP CM

Gandapur defended himself, saying his words were taken out of context.

He added that India is trying to use propaganda to malign Pakistan globally.

The chief minister accused India of being “directly involved in terrorism in Pakistan and the region.”

Letter to FATF Over Kashmir

Gandapur announced he would write to FATF, not only to clarify his statement but to highlight India’s actions in occupied Kashmir.

He said the people and institutions of Pakistan have made great sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.

“My message to Modi is clear: we are united for Pakistan’s defense,” he declared.

FATF Listing Concerns Return

Pakistan was removed from the grey list in 2022, a move that boosted its global standing.

India’s move could threaten that progress. FATF’s grey list means increased monitoring and global financial scrutiny.

Indian officials framed Gandapur’s remarks as a public admission that terror groups still receive support in Pakistan.

They claimed the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa region remains a hotspot for militant activities.

Pakistan has rejected these allegations in the past, saying it has fulfilled all FATF requirements.
