ISLAMABAD: The federal government has reiterated its resolve to protect the property rights of overseas Pakistanis, announcing firm measures to curb illegal occupation and encroachments.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi said the administration is committed to providing a secure and investor-friendly environment for Pakistanis living abroad.
Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, in a message posted on X (formerly Twitter), stated that the Deputy Commissioner of Islamabad is bound to decide complaints related to illegal occupation or encroachment within seven days. He emphasized that no one will be allowed to seize property owned legally, and strict action will be taken against land grabbers.
The interior minister said that overseas Pakistanis are investor-friendly stakeholders and that the government will provide them with a safe and secure environment. He assured that prompt and transparent action will be ensured to protect the assets of overseas Pakistanis.
Mohsin Naqvi added that safeguarding the interests of overseas Pakistanis remains a top priority of the government, and all relevant authorities have been directed to act swiftly on their complaints.
