ISLAMABAD: In a gesture to mark the Christmas celebrations, the federal government has decided to pay the December salaries and pensions in advance to Christian employees and pensioners.
All federal government employees and pensioners belonging to the Christian community will receive their payments on December 22, ahead of the holiday.
The Ministry of Finance has issued a formal directive to the Controller General of Accounts to ensure the timely disbursement of salaries and pensions.
