RAWALPINDI: The health of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) founder and former prime minister Imran Khan is reported to be satisfactory, according to his legal counsel Barrister Salman Safdar, following an extended meeting at Adiala Jail.
Sources confirmed that Barrister Salman Safdar met Imran Khan inside Adiala Jail for approximately three hours. The meeting focused on legal matters as well as the PTI founder’s physical condition during incarceration. After the conclusion of the meeting, Barrister Salman Safdar departed from the jail premises without addressing members of the media.
According to informed sources, Barrister Salman Safdar is expected to submit a comprehensive report regarding the meeting to the Supreme Court on Tuesday. The report will reportedly cover discussions held with Imran Khan, including issues related to his health and ongoing legal proceedings.
In recent weeks, concerns had been raised over Imran Khan’s health while in custody, leading to increased legal scrutiny and public attention.
However, following the latest meeting, sources quoted Barrister Salman Safdar as stating that Imran Khan’s health remains stable and that no immediate medical concerns were observed.
