India beat Pakistan in Asian Hockey Championship

Pakistan hockey team lost to the Indian side in a Asian Hockey Champion Trophy match being played in China.

In the match between the two arch rival countries, Ahmed Nadeem scored a goal in sixth minute of the match and gave Pakistan an upper hand. However, this did not continue for long and in the 12th minute India got a penalty corner in which the Indian captain scored a goal.

In the second quarter final, India got another penalty corner and took full advantage of it and scored another goal. During this quarter, Pakistan was given five penalty corner but couldn’t score a single goal.

Pakistan had to play with 10 players in this quarter as its two players were sent out one after the other for making fouls.

In the last quarter, both the teams tried their best to make goals but none of them succeeded and thus Pakistan lost the match by 1:2 goals.

It may be mentioned here that India has won all the five matches in the tournament while it was the first defeat for Pakistan. Both the countries have already qualified for the semifinal.
