In what appears to be a dramatic escalation of espionage concerns, Indian authorities have reportedly captured a pigeon near the Line of Control (LoC) in Occupied Jammu and Kashmir for allegedly “spying.”
According to Kashmir Media Service (KMS), a local boy caught the suspicious bird near the Akhnoor sector. The pigeon, seemingly a seasoned operative, had stamps on its wings and wore red and yellow rings on its legs labeled “Rehmat Sarkar,” “Rizwan 2025,” and other mysterious numbers.
Local residents handed the feathered suspect over to the police. The pigeon will now face intense interrogation by Indian intelligence agencies for “further investigation.” One can only imagine the kind of classified secrets it might reveal under pressure.
This isn’t India’s first brush with avian espionage; the military has reportedly been on high alert before for similarly “suspicious” birds. Analysts are now questioning whether pigeons are the new drones – or just another reason for the armed forces to stay on their toes.
