India Strikes Mosques: 8 Martyred Including 3-Year-Old Girl, 35 Injured, DG ISPR
RAWALPINDI: Director General Inter-Services Public Relations (DG ISPR) Major General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry confirmed eight Pakistani civilians were martyred in India’s latest unprovoked attacks on Pakistani territory.
He stated that 35 civilians were injured while two people remain missing, as rescue operations continue in the affected areas.
Mosques Deliberately Targeted in Multiple Cities
According to DG ISPR, Indian forces struck Subhan Mosque in Ahmedpur East, launching four missiles that killed five innocent civilians, including a three-year-old girl.
The deceased also include two women and two men, while 31 others sustained injuries, among them 25 men and 6 women.
The attack also destroyed the mosque and damaged four civilian homes.
In Muzaffarabad, Indian forces launched seven strikes on Bilal Mosque in Shahi Wala Nala. The mosque was destroyed, and a young girl was injured.
In Kotli, five strikes on Abbas Mosque killed two young civilians — a 16-year-old girl and an 18-year-old boy. The attack also injured a mother and her daughter.
Strikes Continue in Punjab Cities, Damage Reported
In Muridke, four strikes hit Um al-Qura Mosque, resulting in one civilian martyrdom and one injury.
Further north, in Kotli Loharan near Sialkot, two strikes were reported. One shell did not explode, while another hit open ground, causing no casualties.
Near Shakargarh, an Indian strike caused no loss of life but damaged a local dispensary, the military spokesperson added.
Pakistan Armed Forces Respond with Strength and Resolve
DG ISPR emphasized that, backed by the unwavering support of the Pakistani nation, the armed forces are delivering a strong and effective response.
He warned that the Pakistan Army will continue to retaliate with full force against any future aggression.
