RIYADH: The annual International Falcon and Hunting Exhibition has officially opened in Riyadh, organized by the Saudi Falcon Club in the Malham district.
The event brings together falcon enthusiasts, hunters, and industry experts from around the world.
This year, over 1,300 falcons from 45 countries are on display, alongside weapons manufacturers and suppliers of hunting equipment. Rare and highly trained falcons brought by participants from Pakistan, Gulf countries, and other nations have become the highlight of the exhibition.
Pakistani falcons, praised for their strength, agility, and speed, are particularly popular among Saudi falconers. A live auction is underway, with some falcons fetching prices in the millions of riyals.
The exhibition also features modern automatic firearms, hunting gear, traditional crafts, rare photography, and vintage vehicles, offering visitors a mix of cultural heritage and modern technology.
Pakistani artisans have showcased swords, knives, and other handcrafted tools, reflecting the growing demand for Pakistani craftsmanship in international markets.
The event will continue until October 11, attracting thousands of visitors each day, and is considered a key cultural, commercial, and tourist attraction in the region.
