Islamabad: Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian will arrive in Pakistan on a two-day official visit from August 2 to 3, 2025 at the invitation of Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, according to a statement issued by the Foreign Office.
President Pezeshkian will be accompanied by Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and a high-level delegation.
During his stay in Pakistan, the Iranian President is scheduled to hold separate meetings with President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif. Delegation-level talks between both countries are also planned.
This will be Dr. Pezeshkian’s first official visit to Pakistan since assuming office as President of Iran.
The Foreign Office highlighted that the visit will help strengthen the brotherly relations between Pakistan and Iran, and follows Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s visit to Iran on May 27, 2025.
