KARACHI: Islamabad United produced a dominant performance to defeat Karachi Kings by 8 wickets in the 25th match of PSL 11 at the National Bank Stadium in Karachi.
Karachi Kings, batting first after losing the toss, posted 150 runs for 6 wickets in their allotted 20 overs. Reza Hendricks scored 51 runs while Jason Roy contributed 39 to help set a modest target of 151 for Islamabad United.
In reply, Islamabad United chased down the target comfortably, reaching 151 runs in just 16 overs with only two wickets down. Samir Minhas led the charge with a quick 58, while Devon Conway added a solid 53 runs to seal the win.
For Karachi Kings, Hasan Ali and Moeen Ali took one wicket each, but their efforts were not enough to stop Islamabad’s strong batting display.
With this victory, Islamabad United strengthened their position in the PSL 11 points table.
