Israel Launches Airstrikes on Yemen’s Capital; Two Killed

SANA’A: Israeli forces carried out a series of large-scale airstrikes on Yemen’s capital, Sana’a, resulting in the deaths of two individuals, according to Arab media reports.

The strikes reportedly targeted areas near the presidential complex, missile installations, oil depots, and two power stations. Yemeni Houthi officials stated that the attacks left 2 people dead and 5 others injured.

According to Israeli media, 15 fighter jets participated in the operation, firing a total of 35 missiles at various locations across Yemen.

The Houthis condemned the strikes, accusing Israel of deliberately targeting densely populated residential areas, calling it a “war crime.” They also clarified that the presidential headquarters had been non-operational at the time of the attack, with no staff present in the building.

In response to the assault, the Houthis vowed to escalate their retaliatory operations against Israel, declaring their intent to strike deeper within Israeli territory and target major sites.
