NEW DELHI: An Israeli ship has come under drone attack near the Indian city of Gujarat, according to media reports.
The reports said the ship was carrying crude oil from Saudi Arabia to an In Indian port when it was targeted. As a result, fire broke out in the ship and the smoke could be seen from far off areas. The fire was later extinguished.
The reports added that 20 Indians were among the crew members on the ship, but they remained safe. Indian authorities confirmed that they had received call for help and assistance was provided to the ship. The ship was about 200 miles in the southwest of the Indian city of at Verawal.
