KARACHI: As Pakistan is grappling with the impacts of climate change, President Dr. Arif Alvi on Saturday said that there was an urgent need for joint efforts to mitigate the effects of global warming.
Mr Alvi was speaking at a climate change conference held in Karachi. He blamed human for the change in climate and global warming and said attitudes needed to be changed.
“We have used the world’s resources for centuries without thinking of consequences but now we take the matter seriously and stop the wastage of these resources. He said we need to think about alternate measures to decrease the wastage at all costs.
