ISLAMABAD: The Federal Judicial Complex in Islamabad reopened on Thursday, two days after a deadly suicide blast, with normal court activities resuming under heightened security measures.

A large number of lawyers and litigants returned to the court premises as operations resumed. Security at the complex has been significantly increased, with all entrants undergoing strict checks. Only clerks carrying official identification cards are being allowed entry, while litigants must pass through thorough screening and register their personal details before being admitted.

Officials confirmed that security agencies have completed the collection of forensic evidence from the blast site and handed it over to investigators. The inquiry into the attack is ongoing, as authorities work to determine those responsible.

Meanwhile, the legal community has announced a two-day strike in protest against the incident. The Bar Association stated that lawyers will boycott all court proceedings on November 13 and 14, mourning the victims and calling for stronger safety measures in judicial facilities.

The administration has also decided to keep the daycare center located within the family courts closed for several more days to further reinforce security protocols.
