RAWALPINDI: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Suhail Afridi has arrived in Islamabad to make his 10th attempt to meet PTI founder Imran Khan in Adiala jail.
According to the Special Assistant to the Chief Minister on Information, Afridi has been trying to meet the PTI founder since assuming office but has been denied permission on nine previous occasions.
The Chief Minister is expected to make his tenth attempt today. In preparation, he has instructed all government assembly members to proceed to Adiala Jail, ensuring their presence for the scheduled meeting.
Officials say that Afridi has been consistently seeking this meeting to discuss important governance and party matters, but so far, the attempts have been unsuccessful.
The repeated attempts underline the ongoing political dynamics within the party and the challenges faced by provincial leadership in engaging with the central leadership.
