ISLAMABAD: A ceremonial reception was held at the Prime Minister’s House today in honor of Kyrgyzstan’s President Sadyr Japarov.
Upon his arrival in Pakistan earlier, President Japarov was received with full protocol at the airport, where Pakistani officials, including senior government representatives, welcomed him warmly.
The arrival ceremony included traditional honors, reflecting the close diplomatic and friendly relations between Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan.
Upon reaching the Prime Minister’s House, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif personally welcomed the guest with a cordial reception.
Both leaders exchanged gestures of goodwill, emphasizing their commitment to strengthening bilateral ties. During the ceremony, the national anthems of Pakistan and Kyrgyzstan were played, symbolizing mutual respect and cooperation between the two countries.
President Japarov was also presented with a Guard of Honor by the armed forces, and he personally inspected the troops, showcasing the formal military protocol and respect accorded to visiting heads of state.
Following the ceremonial proceedings, both leaders introduced members of their respective delegations, fostering a spirit of diplomatic dialogue and collaboration.
In a symbolic gesture of friendship and enduring cooperation, President Japarov planted a tree within the premises of the Prime Minister’s House, highlighting the long-term commitment of both nations to maintaining strong and friendly relations.
