London rally asks for immediate end to Israeli terrorism in Palestine

Media reports say the pro-Palestine rally on Saturday was one of the biggest in history of Britain.

LONDON: In one of the biggest rallies held in the history of Britain, at least a million of people took to the streets in London against Israeli state terrorism in Gaza.

Reports said it was the biggest rally in London since 2003 and one of the huge held in the history of Britain.

People from all walks of life and ages, including elderly on wheelchairs, joined the protest to condemn the naked Israeli aggression.

The participants were carrying placards and chanting slogans declaring Israel as a butchers of innocent civilians. The rally marched from Hyde Park to the US embassy about 5km (3 miles) away.

The Metropolitan Police said about 300,000 people took part in the protest rally.

The National March for Palestine on Saturday was one of the protests planned to express  support for the Palestinians who have been bombed and ground offensive by Israel since Israel launched on Gaza following Palestinian group Hamas’s attacks on southern Israel on October 7.

Some people also held a counter protest the same day and police said 82 of the participants of that rally were detained.

Similar protests have been held across the globe against the Israeli barbarism but the Zionist state and its shameless backers, including the US, continue trampling human rights and atrocities on the Palestinian people.
