ISLAMABAD: A Meena Bazaar organized at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs celebrated cultural diversity while promoting women’s empowerment.
The event featured stalls from various countries, offering visitors a glimpse into international traditions and heritage.
Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, who inaugurated the bazaar, praised the Pakistan Foreign Office Women’s Association (PFOWA) for its outstanding contributions to social welfare and emphasized the government’s ongoing efforts to empower women across Pakistan.
“Events like Meena Bazaar not only bring different cultures together but also provide a platform to recognize and support the talents and initiatives of women,” he said.
The Deputy Prime Minister toured the stalls alongside the Foreign Secretary, engaging with participants and learning about their work. The Meena Bazaar was described as an important initiative that strengthens international friendships while highlighting the crucial role of women in society.
Organized annually by PFOWA, the Meena Bazaar has become a celebrated event for promoting cultural exchange and empowering women through active participation in social and economic activities.
