ISLAMABAD: Nation Celebrates Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) with religious zeal and spirit on Saturday.
ISLAMABAD: The birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (Peace Be Upon Him), the Mercy for all mankind, is being celebrated across the country today with great religious fervor and devotion.
A public holiday has already been announced by the federal government across the country. The day began with special prayers for the progress and prosperity of the country. A 31-gun salute in the federal capital and 21-gun salutes in provincial capitals marked the auspicious occasion, with the atmosphere resonating with slogans of Allahu Akbar and Pakistan Zindabad.
Cities and towns nationwide are illuminated with lights as mosques, government buildings, and private institutions sparkle with decorations.
Devotees are presenting tributes of Durood and Salam, while processions will be taken out and gatherings of Milad will be held to commemorate the blessed birth of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
