LAHORE: Son of former military dictator Ziaul Haq and head of PML (Zia) Ijazul Haq has demanded that veteran politicians Asif Zardari, Nawaz Sharif and Shehbaz Sharif should be asked to retire from politics.
Speaking at a press conference here, he said he was making this demand on the basis of the recent health report of Nawaz Sharif, the speeches and statements of Shehbaz Sharif and the antics of Asif Zardari.
In reply to a question, Ijazul Haq said he was seeing an operation fourth time prime minister, meaning the establishment was working to bring Nawaz Sharif to power as the prime minister for the fourth time.
He said politicians were being told to support some particular candidates. He said if elections did not portray the wishes of the masses, Pakistan would fall into a situation from where it would be impossible for anyone to take it out.
