LAHORE: Chairman of the Council of Islamic Ideology (CCI) Allama Raghib Naeemi has said that Pakistan’s actions against what he termed as the “Fitna-e-Hindustan” have gained support from several brotherly Muslim countries, including Türkiye, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan.
He stated that a new bloc of Islamic nations is in the making.
Taking to a TV channel in Lahore, Allama Naeemi welcomed the recent statement from the Afghan government, which declared terrorist activities inside Pakistan as illegitimate. He expressed satisfaction over this development and said that even the Afghan authorities do not support cross-border intrusions into Pakistan.
Allama Naeemi further remarked that political factionalism has prevented the establishment of a stable government in Afghanistan. He endorsed the recent statements made by Commander Saeed regarding the situation.
Highlighting the international dimension of Pakistan’s stance, Naeemi said, “When Pakistan took a firm stand against the Fitna-e-Hindustan, countries like Türkiye, Iran, Azerbaijan, and Turkmenistan echoed Pakistan’s voice. This signals the formation of a new alliance among Muslim nations.”
The statement reflects growing cooperation among Islamic countries on regional security and ideological solidarity, with Pakistan seemingly taking a central role in uniting voices against external and internal threats.
