ISLAMABAD: Over 0.8 million people left Pakistan in search of employment abroad during the fiscal year ending on June 30, 2024.
According to the Bureaue of Statistics, the exact number of those who moved abroad in search of jobs was 811,469.
A senior official of the bureau added that during the year the Pakistanis faced hurdles in getting visa for Saudi Arabia.
He said that the demand for professional workers had increased in UAE and the United States of America.
It may be mentioned here that a large number of Pakistanis also moved out of the country through illegal means that are never documented.
