WASHINGTON. Pakistan’s Ambassador to the US Rizwan Saeed Sheikh held a telephonic conversation with leading member of Congressional Pakistan Caucus Rep. Tom Suozzi.
They discussed bilateral relations and steps aimed at further strengthening cooperation in different fields.

During the interaction, the ambassador said that Pak-US relations were of great importance to both the countries and the region.
“The positive trajectory of bilateral relations is encouraging. We are determined to fully utilize this spirit of goodwill and friendship for further strengthening of multifaceted relations, especially economic ties,” Ambassador Sheikh added.
He thanked Congressman Tom Suozzi for expressing good will and his felicitation message on the occasion of Independence Day
Rep. Tom Suozzi appreciated the Pakistani community for their contribution towards strengthening Pakistan-US relations and their services for the country.
During the conversation, they also reaffirmed their commitment to strengthen Pak-US relations, work together to promoting people to people ties and to mobilize and strengthen Pakistani caucus in the US Congress.
