Pakistan Aims to Land on the Moon by 2035: Planning Minister

Islamabad: Federal Minister for Planning, Ahsan Iqbal, has revealed that Pakistan plans to land on the moon by 2035.

This announcement follows the successful launch of Pakistan’s remote sensing satellite, a significant achievement for the country’s space ambitions.

Acknowledging Success and Support

In a statement, Minister Iqbal congratulated the nation on the successful satellite launch.

He also extended his thanks to the entire team at SUPARCO (Space and Upper Atmosphere Research Commission), including engineers and scientists who contributed to the achievement.

Expressing appreciation for China’s role, Iqbal emphasized the strong cooperation between Pakistan and China.

“We are deeply grateful for China’s continued support. The satellite has successfully entered its designated orbit,” he said.

Pakistan’s Vision for Space Exploration

The Minister reaffirmed Pakistan’s dedication to becoming a leader in space technology.

He announced that, with China’s help, an astronaut from Pakistan will be sent into space next year.

Looking ahead, he assured that Pakistan would complete its moon landing mission by 2035, marking a major milestone in the country’s space exploration efforts.
