Pakistan, EU to continue talks on enhancing bilateral cooperation

BRUSSLES: Pakistan and the European Union (EU) have stressed the need to continue their ongoing talks on enhancing bilateral cooperation in diverse fields.
They also highlighted the importance of Pakistan’s ties with the European Union as a strategic and multifaceted partner.
The understanding was reached at an event in which Pakistan’s Ambassador to Belgium, Luxembourg and the European Union Amna Baloch presented her credentials to the EU Council President Charles Michel in Brussels.
In her discussion with President Michel, Ambassador Baloch provided an update on the humanitarian situation in Indian Illegally Occupied Jammu and Kashmir.
She expressed her perspective on the vital balancing role the EU has the capacity to play in the evolving geopolitical landscape.
During the discussions, the two sides expressed their desires to enhance and cement relationship between the EU and Pakistan.
