LAHORE: Pakistan secured a dominant 9-wicket victory over South Africa in the second T20I, leveling the series at 1-1.
Chasing a modest target of 111 runs, Pakistan reached the target with ease, losing just one wicket in the process. The match, held in Lahore, saw Pakistan’s captain Salman Ali Agha win the toss and opt to field first, giving South Africa the opportunity to bat.
South Africa’s batting line-up faltered under Pakistan’s relentless bowling attack, and they were bowled out for just 110 runs in 19.5 overs. The team struggled from the start, with none of their batters managing to make a significant impact.
Seven of their players failed to reach double figures, and the highest score came from Devald Brevis, who made 25 runs. Donovan Ferreira contributed 15, while Carbon Bosh and Bartmann added 11 and 12 runs, respectively.

Sahibzada Farhan made a useful 28 runs before being dismissed, while captain Babar Azam remained unbeaten on 11 runs. Pakistan wrapped up the chase comfortably, securing the 9-wicket victory and leveling the series.
With the series now tied 1-1, the decider will be played tomorrow in Lahore, promising an exciting conclusion to the series.
