UNITED NATIONS: In a powerful address at the United Nations Security Council, Pakistan’s representative, Counsellor Saima Saleem, delivered a strong rebuttal to the Indian delegate, exposing India’s open involvement in terrorism and targeted killings in Pakistan and the occupied Jammu and Kashmir region.

Saima Saleem accused India of being complicit in the indiscriminate killing of civilians in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir and of carrying out unprovoked attacks on Pakistan that deliberately target innocent people. “No amount of vague statements can hide these facts,” she asserted.

The Pakistani diplomat revealed that India consistently supports terrorist groups financially and operationally, including the Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP), Balochistan Liberation Army (BLA), and the Majeed Brigade. These groups, she said, are responsible for heinous acts of violence in Pakistan aimed at destabilizing the country and killing innocent civilians.

She highlighted the cowardly attack in Khuzdar, Balochistan, where a school bus was targeted, leading to the deaths of innocent children and injuries to many others. “Such brutal acts cannot be masked with diplomatic rhetoric,” Saleem emphasized.

Counsellor Saleem further condemned India’s ongoing human rights violations in occupied Jammu and Kashmir, where civilians are routinely subjected to violence and oppression. She called on the international community to recognize the gravity of these actions and hold India accountable.

Her statement marks a significant move by Pakistan in its diplomatic campaign to expose Indian-sponsored terrorism, drawing international attention to regional security threats and human rights concerns.
