ISLAMABAD: Victory Day of Türkiye was celebrated in Islamabad with a special ceremony attended by officials and members of the diplomatic and civil community.
General Sahir Shamshad Mirza, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee (CJCSC), attended the event as the Chief Guest.
Civilian and military officials, media representatives, business leaders, and civil society members were also present, reflecting the strong and brotherly ties between Pakistan and Türkiye.
In his address, General Mirza extended heartfelt felicitations to the people of Türkiye, its political leadership, and all ranks of the Turkish Armed Forces on the occasion of Victory Day.
He underscored the enduring strategic and brotherly relations between the two nations and reaffirmed their shared commitment to further strengthen this partnership across all domains, based on common values, mutual trust, and cooperation.
On arrival, the CJCSC was received by Mr. Berk ECE, Chargé d’affaires of the Turkish Embassy in Pakistan.
