Pakistan PM, Other World Leaders Sign  Board of Peace Charter

DAVOS: Leaders from various countries, including US President Donald Trump and Pakistan’s Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, have signed the Gaza Board of Peace charter.

Addressing the signing ceremony, President Trump said that many nations want to participate in the Gaza Peace Board and that they are committed to achieving lasting peace in the Middle East. He expressed gratitude to the countries involved in the initiative.

President Trump highlighted his efforts over the past 10 months, claiming he had stopped eight wars, including preventing a conflict between Pakistan and India.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif said that through these efforts, millions of lives were saved and significant achievements were accomplished despite the odds.

Trump added that following his peace efforts, many world leaders became his friends. He also mentioned that Hamas will need to be dismantled if it remains armed.

Regarding Iran, Trump stated that he had targeted nuclear facilities but is open to dialogue, as Iran now seeks talks.

During the ceremony, President Trump personally thanked Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif for Pakistan’s participation in the Gaza Peace Board, and the two leaders shared a handshake before the signing.
