Pakistan, Russia to cooperate in promotion of mass media
Russian deputy minister says her country wants to cooperate with Pakistan in other spheres of life as well.
NANJING (CHINA): At a meeting, information and broadcasting minister Murtaza Solangi and a Russian deputy minister for communication held in Nanjing city of China, the two sides agreed to promote cooperation in the field of mass media.
Mr Solangi and Bella Cherkesova, the Russian deputy minister for digital development, communications and mass media, discussed ways to work together in the mass media and other fields.
The Pakistani minister stressed the need for starting joint production and training programs by Islamabad and Moscow. He also invited the Russian deputy minister to visit Pakistan which the latter accepted.
The Russian deputy minister Bella Cherkesova said her country wants to cooperate with Pakistan in other spheres of life as well. She said Pakistani dramas were very popular in Russia.
Mr Solangi on the occasion also appreciated the efforts being made by Russian for the promotion of peace in the region.
