NEW YORK: In a gesture of South Asian diplomatic solidarity, the Consul General of Pakistan in New York Aamer Ahmed Atozai met Dadhi Ram Bhandari, the newly appointed Consul General of Nepal, to discuss mutual interests and avenues for collaboration.
During the meeting, held at the Consulate General of Pakistan, the two diplomats emphasized the importance of enhancing cooperation between their respective missions.
Mr. Atozai congratulated Mr. Bhandari on his recent appointment and expressed optimism that his leadership would further deepen Pakistan-Nepal relations.
The Consuls General reaffirmed their shared commitment to promoting friendship, cultural exchange, and understanding among the South Asian community in New York. Both sides agreed to work closely within the local diplomatic community to advance regional cooperation and shared interests.
The meeting concluded with an exchange of traditional courtesies and a mutual resolve to build on the longstanding ties between Pakistan and Nepal.
