NEW YORK: Discussions have started on the formation of a unified platform by Pakistani student associations across the United States to strengthen collaboration, amplify student voices, and enhance support for Pakistani students.
In this regard, Consul General of Pakistan in New York Aamer Ahmed Atozai met office-bearers of the United Pakistan Student Association (UPSA) at Pakistan’s consulate in New York.
Through this platform, student leaders aim to coordinate national-level initiatives, share resources, and address common challenges faced by Pakistani students in higher education. Discussions were also held to organize mentorship programs, cultural events, and digital support systems for career development and student advocacy.
Consul General Atozai praised the initiative, reaffirming the consulate’s commitment to empowering Pakistani students.
“Our youth are our ambassadors,” he said. “By uniting, they are taking a major step toward shaping their future and strengthening their identity in the diaspora.”
The initiative would mark a new era of cooperation among Pakistani student organizations and set the stage for long-term impact on academic, professional, and cultural levels.
UPSA is a nationwide network bringing together Pakistani students and alumni across the United States. It seeks to connect, support, and empower the next generation of Pakistani professionals through academic mentorship, internship facilitation, career referrals, and collaborative programming.
