Pakistan’s Independence Day Celebrated with “Battle for Truth” Rally

BARCELONA, SPAIN: Thousands of overseas Pakistanis gathered in Barcelona to celebrate Pakistan’s 78th Independence Day falling on August 14.

In this regard, a “Battle for Truth” Rally and Conference was organized by EU-Pak Friendship Federation Europe and POAF Europe chapter, says a press release.

Attendees came from across Spain and ten other European countries. The streets were filled with flags, banners, and loud chants of “Pakistan Zindabad.” The event reflected strong unity and deep national pride.

Chief guest Abdul Qadir Gilani, guest of honor Dr. Chaudhry Parvez Iqbal Lohsar and special guest Ejaz Piara attended along with Zeeshan Paul, Chaudhry Amjad Parvez, Malik Naeem, and officials from the Pakistani Consulate.

Support for Armed Forces

The crowd paid tribute to the Pakistan Army and Chief of Army Staff General Asim Munir. Large posters and patriotic slogans created an emotional and powerful atmosphere.

Young speaker Shah Nawaz Ranjha impressed the audience with a passionate speech about Pakistan’s future.

Messages of Hope and Unity

Dr. Lohsar praised the overseas youth as Pakistan’s asset. “You are Pakistan,” he said, urging them to uphold good character and unity abroad.

Kamran Khan, who chaired the event, emphasized promoting Pakistan’s positive image. He condemned negative propaganda and called for national solidarity.

Diverse and United Participation

Leaders from various political, religious, and social groups joined hands in a show of unity. Their shared patriotism rose above all affiliations.

The event ended with renewed vows of loyalty to Pakistan. The air echoed with powerful chants celebrating the nation and its defenders.
