ISLAMABAD: The Ministry of Religious Affairs has instructed all intending Hajj pilgrims to submit their required data no later than December 12.
According to ministry sources, pilgrims whose photographs or verification details are incorrect may face delays or even rejection during the Hajj visa processing.
The ministry emphasized that inaccurate documents could lead to visa cancellation, urging applicants to ensure all information is correct and complete.
Pilgrims must submit their photograph, passport, and medical certificate to the designated bank branch. If any document or photo does not comply with Saudi Arabia’s guidelines, the respective bank staff will contact the applicant.
Authorities have advised pilgrims to promptly provide corrected documents upon the bank’s request to avoid delays.
Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia’s Airports Holding Company has revealed plans to offer a “baggage-free travel” facility to 1.5 million pilgrims for the upcoming Hajj season.
According to the Saudi news agency, the company’s Executive Director of Operations, Mohammed Khairuddin, stated that this initiative is part of the Kingdom’s Vision 2030 goals, aimed at improving services for pilgrims.
He noted that during Hajj 1446, over 1 million pilgrims from 43 countries had already benefited from the digital tracking project, which enabled them to travel without carrying luggage at Saudi airports.
