PM Hails Outgoing UAE Ambassador’s Role In Boosting Ties

ISLAMABAD: Hamad Obaid Ibrahim Al-Zaabi, the outgoing Ambassador of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) to Pakistan, held a farewell meeting with Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif. 

During the meeting, the Prime Minister congratulated the smbassador on the successful completion of his tenure in Pakistan and expressed gratitude for his role in strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries.

He expressed satisfaction over the significant steps taken in recent months to further strengthen bilateral relations, including visits by UAE Foreign Minister H.H. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan and Abu Dhabi Crown Prince Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, the Pakistan-UAE Joint Ministerial Commission, and the recent signing of the official Operational Duty Passport Holders agreement.

The Prime Minister also stated that he looks forward to the official visit of H.H. Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan to Pakistan, which will further enhance the cooperation and friendship between the two countries.

In response, Ambassador Al-Zaabi thanked the Prime Minister for the meeting and expressed deep appreciation for the support and friendship he received from both the government and the people of Pakistan during his nine-year tenure. He acknowledged the special bonds of friendship between the leadership and peoples of Pakistan and the UAE.
