ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif held a meeting with President Asif Ali Zardari at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, where both leaders discussed in detail the evolving situation in the Middle East and Pakistan’s potential diplomatic role in addressing the crisis.
During the meeting, the prime minister and the president exchanged comprehensive views on the rapidly changing regional dynamics and reviewed Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic efforts in response to the situation. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif took the opportunity to brief President Zardari on Pakistan’s possible role and strategic approach amid the rising tensions in the Middle East.
