PM Shehbaz to Visit Japan in Early October After 20 Years

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif is scheduled to visit Japan in the first week of October.

This visit is taking place at the special invitation of the Japanese government and marks the first visit by a Pakistani Prime Minister to Japan in two decades.

According to media reports, during the visit, Japan is expected to announce a substantial economic and trade package for Pakistan.

The package will focus on investment, industrial development, technology exchange, and boosting exports. Several important agreements and memorandums of understanding (MoUs) are also expected to be signed, which are being hailed as a milestone in bilateral relations between the two countries.

The last visit by a Pakistani Prime Minister to Japan was in 2005, when then-Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz made the trip.
