Prime Minister Imran Khan, accompanied by federal ministers and senior military leaders, visited the headquarters of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) where he was briefed on the national and regional situation.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office, Prime Minister Imran Khan visited the Directorate of Inter-Services Intelligence, Foreign Minister Shah Mehmood Qureshi, Planning Minister Asad Umar, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee General Nadeem Raza and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa.
According to the spokesperson of the Prime Minister’s House, Chief of Air Staff Air Chief Marshal Mujahid Anwar Khan, Chief of the Naval Staff Admiral Muhammad Amjad Khan Niazi, Chief of General Staff Lieutenant General Sahir Shamshad Mirza also visited ISI Headquarters along with the prime minister.
Director General ISI Lt. Gen. Faiz Hameed received the prime minister and other political and military leaders. A high level meeting was also held at ISI headquarters under the chairmanship of PM Imran. In which the top national and military leadership was briefed in detail on the overall situation including regional and national security.
PM Imran Khan appreciated the professionalism of the ISI in tackling the challenges facing national security.
