KARACHI: A lady police sub-inspector has accused her senior officers of sexually harassing her and then evicting her from her official residence after she refused to oblige their unethical demands.
In a video message shared on social media, the woman said that she was repeatedly harassed by her seniors and upon resistance false cases were registered against her.
“The seniors tried to have unwanted sexual relationship with me and after their failure they used different tactics to harass me at the workplace and outside,” she alleged.
A number of FIRs were registered against the lady police officer and some people also tried to barge into her house at the behest of the officers. She was later forced to vacate the house.
For the last about a week, she added, she had been without a house and as a result she and her family were in trouble.
She said if any untoward incident occurs with her family, the senior police officers will ve responsible.
The SSP West, taking notice of the allegations, has ordered an inquiry and submission of a report within a week.
